Turn, Turn, Turn – An Inspiring Music and Dance Tribute To Pete Seeger
Turn, Turn, Turn celebrates the music of Pete Seeger through movement and dance. The show features over 20 of his memorable songs from children’s tunes to activist anthems. Songs include We Shall Overcome, Big Muddy, Wimoweh, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, and of course, Turn Turn Turn.
The audience is encouraged to be part of the performance by singing along to their favorite songs.
The music is interpreted through a variety of distinctive dance styles such as clogging, swing and Zulu gumboot dancing. In addition, historical photos and recordings are presented throughout the show to take the audience on a journey through American history.
Audiences leave the show humming Pete’s timeless songs, stirred by the dance performances, encouraged by his enduring message and inspired to make the world a better place.
